Have Questions?
We're Here to Help.

We know that choosing the right care home for your loved one comes with a lot of questions — and we’re happy to answer every single one. Below you’ll find some of the most common things families ask, from daily life at our residence to safety, meals, and visiting hours. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us — we’re always just a phone call away.

Yes, your loved on can absolutely continue to stay here in the home. We strive to let our residents “age in place,” which means we adjust our care as their needs change. If your loved one's health declines, we will coordinate with doctors, home health, or hospice services to come in and care for them here, so they don’t have to move to an unfamiliar place. We support residents through end-of-life care with compassion and love, in collaboration with hospice professionals. This way, your loved one can remain in a comfortable, familiar environment surrounded by people who know and care for them. We’ll be right by their side (and yours), every step of the way, to make sure everyone is as well cared for as possible through every stage of this journey.

The biggest difference is the intimate, home-like setting. We’re not a big facility with long hallways and many, many residents. ASAP Care is actually a cozy house in a residential neighborhood, caring for just a handful of seniors, so it truly feels like living in a family home. This means we can provide very personalized care – we cook meals in a family kitchen, celebrate birthdays together, and adapt daily routines to each resident’s needs and preferences. Your loved one won’t get lost in the shuffle here; it’s a warm, quiet environment with familiar faces and consistent caregivers who treat her like family. Many families tell us it’s like having their parent cared for by a close relative rather than in an institution.

Yes, visits are welcome anytime with a little notice, and you’re more than welcome to take your loved one out for family outings.

We are very diligent with medical care and medications. Our caregivers make sure your loved one takes all their medications on time and exactly as prescribed. We also consult with medical professionals if any medical concerns come up. If anything changes with your loved one's health, we’ll respond promptly and keep you updated, ensuring they always receive the care they need.

A typical day at ASAP Care is calm, supportive, and personalized. Residents start the morning with help getting up, dressed, and ready for the day, followed by a home-cooked breakfast tailored to their preferences. After medication support, they can join in light activities like stretching, music, art, or group chats. The day includes healthy meals, quiet time, and opportunities to socialize or enjoy visits from family or community members. Depending on their needs, some residents take part in therapy or one-on-one enrichment. Evenings are relaxing, with a warm dinner, TV, or conversation, and gentle assistance with bedtime routines. Each day is thoughtfully balanced with structure and flexibility to help our residents feel comfortable and cared for.

ASAP Care cares for no more than six residents at a time. With such a cozy group, each resident gets a lot of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Our staff-to-resident ratio is high, meaning there’s always someone available to chat with your loved one, help them when needed, and check on them regularly. They won’t ever feel like “just a number” here; we really get to know everyone and their needs personally.

We cook fresh, home-style meals every day and happily accommodate dietary needs, allergies, and personal food preferences.

Yes, our caregivers assist with all daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. We know your loved one might need a gentle hand with these personal tasks, and we’re here to help while always respecting their privacy and dignity. Whether it’s getting ready in the morning or a comforting bedtime routine, we support them every step of the way so they feel safe and cared for.

Absolutely! We encourage families to make their loved one’s room feel just like home. You’re welcome to bring that favorite recliner, cherished photos, and any other decor that will comfort your loved one. Our staff can even help arrange the room just the way they like it. We want them to feel this is their space – cozy, familiar, and filled with the things they love.

We have caregivers available 24/7, so your loved one will never be alone in an emergency. If something happens – day or night – our staff is able to quickly respond, assess the situation, and call 911 or a nurse if needed. We’ll also contact you right away, so you’re informed and involved. Your loved one's safety is our top priority, and we’re always prepared to get them the help they need quickly.
